Bright Beginnings, Books 1 and 2, (2 Volume Set) ReviewWe have decided to homeschool our son. We are not fanatics, this is just the best option for our family. That being said, I really wanted my son to have a structured preschool experience. I am so glad that I found this curriculum! I am so impressed! What wonderful ideas Ms. Shaw has put in it! The layout and daily plan has really been thought through. There is just the right amount of content and time spent on each subject for the short attention span of children this age. Each day, there is Bible, a themed topic from God's World (My Birthday, Birds, Communication, Insects, Food, Five Senses, etc) - this topic is continued all week, Language Skills, Physical Education, Math, Art or Music (alternate days), Health, Safety & Manners or Character Building (alternate days), a Memory Verse and snack This truly is a wonderful program for children of the 3-5 age range. Football Math: Touchdown Activities and Projects for Grades 4–8 ReviewI bought this for my 9 year old son who is only in third grade. He gets good grades in math, but hates it. This product made learning math fun for him and he has spent alot of time even in the car doing problems in this book. It is a lot of fun for him. I plan to order him this year after year as they come out with new ones. Some of the problems of course are difficult for the little ones, so I would like to see them come out with one that is grade specific and not 4 - 8, but overall we were very pleased with the product and it did everythign we had hoped it would do to encourage our son to explore math.Football Math: Touchdown Activities and Projects for Grades 4–8 Overview

Parachute Games With DVD - 2nd Edition ReviewThis book pretty much tells it all, from how to choose the right parachute for your activities to care and maintenance to how to play with it. They list close to 60 different parachute games, separated by low, medium and high activity levels. They describe the game, often with a picture and then offer some insight of what often happens with the children playing it. In addition to listing any additional equipment necessary (balls or a second chute), they'll talk about the duration of the game, when to play the game, good lead in activities and good follow up activities. They also talk about the developmental skills each game encourages.
I used this to help develop a curriculum program that I take to schools. It is a great resource for any game leader, educator, recreational director, etc. that uses parachutes.Parachute Games With DVD - 2nd Edition Overview
