Only for Carl Sandburg, I dare say. I'm not sure who requests this book more often, me or my 7-year-old daughter, but these bite-size, fabulous stories increase their charm with each rereading. More Rootabaga Stories ReviewI read a story from this book or its sequel almost every night to my child. The original book was lost on a trip and this purchase replaced it. The stories are wonderful and well written. I like Carl Sandburg and I am used to the cadence of his writing; which may be a little challenging at first.
