Fire Season ReviewAntaeus International is an enormous, highly successful company run by the Antaeus siblings who also happen to be dragon shifters. Youngest sibling Holden is ticked off because his oldest brother, Sean, has called a mandatory business retreat this weekend at the Gargoyle Resort. Holden had planned to spend the weekend in Palm Springs with his current girl friend. Now he'll loose a hefty deposit and have to deal with a bitching Gina. Great. Just great.
This weekend will also serve to introduce their newest employee, Garret Renquist, to everyone. What Holden and Garret don't know is that the retreat will make the men realize that they are mates, life-long mates. Garret is bisexual and comfortable with his life style, but Holden has never in his long life been interested in men; he's strictly heterosexual. Acknowledging a mate is a serious matter for any dragon shifter. This is going to be a very bumpy get together, no doubt about it.

The main characters, Holden and Garret, are fascinating, flawed and primal. Author Lex Valentine gives us a difficult scenario and then deftly writes an emotionally charged, complex tale. Fire Season is deliciously erotic and - just as important - makes you ponder the possibilities. Fire Season is a smoking hot blast of a story.

Razor Burn: A Romentics Novel ReviewThis book is a great read! A sweet love story with an absorbing plot line twist! Personally, I enjoyed the whole book but what I really want to highlight is that the storyline is superb. I am amazed the authors were able to pull it off without the story seeming too silly. The only criticism I have is that I would have appreciated a bit more development in the main characters' relationship. Maybe less sex and more tender moments. But then I am a female and therefore probably not the target audience for this book. lol. Don't get me wrong the characters love is believeable and enjoyable. Yet, probably because of the need to develop the strong plot, the relationship developed pretty quickly. Nevertheless, as a female who has read many romance novels, I have to say this book was refreshing and satisfying. I suggest that all those who are open to this subject, check this book out!Razor Burn: A Romentics Novel Overview
