Curious George Goes to a Movie ReviewThat said, the editorial review is quite right. The attention to detail of the original George books is absent in this one. It also misses the lesson that is supposed to be taught in the books when George does something he wasn't supposed to. However, in this book, he winds up getting out of his seat to see where the movie is coming from, upsets the projector, but never gets punished for it. He's patted on the back and given free popcorn since he saved the day by making hand shadows on the screen. Not too sure what type of message they're trying to send with this book, but since it isn't written by the Reys, it's hard to tell. I wouldn't really bank on this one - the message just isn't there and doesn't stay true to the original George books. Don't really recommend this one.Curious George Goes to a Movie Overview
