Crochet Totes and Accessories (Leisure Arts #4639) ReviewCrochet Totes and Accessories, seemingly with young and fresh designs inside, certainly left me disappointed.The best design in the book, in my opinion, is the tote on the front cover. The remaining patterns are somewhat imaginative, but lack attractive shape and composition. Imagine the acessories of a late 80's early 90's hippy try hard. Dont get me wrong, i'm slightly inclined to the hippy way of life myself, and do love the look of hand made items. It's just that these patterns are not the most fresh or pretty designs around.
There is potential for the designs to be tweaked to suit your own likes, but alterations of patterns can be difficult to make if inexperienced.
All in all I was unimpressed, but happy to have yet another resource pattern book to put in my ever growing collection.
My recommendation, If you like to have lots reference/rescource books just hanging around for inspiration then go for it! But be warned! There are not many 'OMG I LOVE IT!' moments in this patten book.Crochet Totes and Accessories (Leisure Arts #4639) Overview
