Student Solutions Manual/Study Guide/Problems Book for Garrett/Grisham's Biochemistry, 3rd ReviewIf you have to purchase Garrett & Grisham and problem sets are assigned, it's really to your benefit to purchase the study guide and solutions manual. It's surprisingly comprehensive and the problems are worked out in great detail. The textbook tends to gloss over (or ignore entirely) certain aspects of solving some problems and the companion fills in the gaps.
Ideally, you're taking biochemistry with a competent instructor and only have to use G&G as a reference, but I'm forced to use it as a primary tool for learning.
